GREEN from CHLORINE?

Why does my blonde hair turn green?

Many reasons cause this "green". It typically is blue, but on your golden blonde hair- it looks green! Build up of chlorine in the hair, letting chlorine dry in the hair, porus hair, virgin hair and non professional shampoo aid the green!

A great trick to prevent this would be to soak your hair with the hose first before jumping in the pool to saturate it with non chlorinated water. You can use Colour Fanatic by Pureology as well to saturate the hair, even out porosity and protect from UVA and UVB.

If your hair should turn green- you can come in for a Pre-Art Treatment by Redken. This will remove the green tinge on your luscious strands! The cost is $17 per treatment.
